A tee is where a Champion Quick-Lock main turns into a branch, and the type of tee you pick decides whether that branch delivers dry air or a cup of water. This listing carries all three Quick-Lock tee families.
- Equal tee, 14mm through 63mm, all three legs the same tube size. Champion prints the 14mm as a Union Tee and 20mm and up as a Junction Tee; they are the same fitting family.
- Swivel tee, 14mm tube with a male NPT branch that rotates so you can orient it after the thread is tight.
- Reduction outlet tee with water trap insert, the one that matters most. The run stays full size, the branch drops to 20mm, 25mm or 32mm, and an internal insert routes air to the point of use while moisture keeps travelling along the main toward the low point.
Choose the tee you need from the dropdown above.
The Reduction Outlet Tee, and Why It Replaces a Swan Neck
The traditional way to take a drop without dumping condensate into it is a swan neck: a riser off the top of the main, over, and back down. It works, it costs three fittings and a length of tube, and it eats headroom.
Champion's outlet tee does the same job inside one fitting. In Champion's own words it is "a valid alternative to the traditional swan neck" and to a goose neck take-off: the internal system lets air reach the point of use while condensate drains toward the most convenient low point of the system, so moisture does not sit in the main circuit and does not drop into the branch.
Two things still apply. Pitch the whole system with a slight slope so moisture collects at one point, and terminate that point with a drop leg and a condensate drain. The outlet tee manages where water goes; it does not remove it. For that you want a properly sized air dryer.

Ideal Applications
Branching a loop main into bay drops, feeding a bank of outlets off a header, splitting a run to serve two machines, and, with the outlet tee, every drop in a shop where a tool must not see liquid water. The swivel tee is the point of use fitting on 14mm bench and station runs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should every drop use a reduction outlet tee?
Every drop that feeds a tool, a paint booth, a blow gun or anything that cares about liquid water, yes. For a drop that feeds a point you are going to filter and dry locally anyway, an equal tee is fine. The outlet tee is cheap insurance and it saves the fittings and headroom a swan neck would cost.
What is the difference between a Union Tee and a Junction Tee?
Nothing functional. Champion's price list prints "Union Tee" for the 14mm part and "Junction Tee" for 20mm and larger. Both are equal tees with push-fit connections on all three legs.
Can I reduce the branch with an equal tee plus an adapter?
You can, using a reducing stem adapter in the branch leg, and sometimes that is the right answer when you already have the tee. But it costs two parts and it does not give you the water trap insert. If the branch is a drop, buy the outlet tee.
Should drops come off the top or the bottom of the main?
Off the top, always, unless you are using an outlet tee designed to manage it. Water in a main runs along the bottom. A branch taken off the bottom is a funnel.
Can the outlet tee feed upward as well as down?
The fitting is designed to take air to a point of use while condensate continues along the main, which is a drop orientation. For a riser off a main, an equal tee or an elbow is the normal choice.
Can I take a tee apart later?
Yes. Loosen the compression nut one to one and a half turns, push the pipe in, pull it out. Inspect the o-ring before reassembly.
