nano compressed air filters: water separators, coalescing, particulate, carbon, sterile and high pressure
Compressed air leaves the compressor carrying water, oil aerosol, pipe scale and oil vapor. A filter train removes them in order: a water separator or 1 micron particulate first, a 0.01 micron coalescing element for oil, then activated carbon if the air has to be odor and vapor free. nano builds housings and elements for every pressure and flow we sell, and the elements are performance validated to ISO 8573 and ISO 12500.
GFN is the standard aluminum housing, 6 to 1500 SCFM from 1/8 inch to 3 inch NPT, in M1 (1 micron), M01 (0.01 micron coalescing) and AC (activated carbon) grades. G50N mid pressure adds WS water separator, M25 and M5 grades and runs 95 to 1885 SCFM at mid pressure. NFZ flanged covers 2500 to 10000 SCFM on 4 to 10 inch flanges for plant headers, and the F2 T style flanged housing is the activated carbon version. GF water separators and the mist eliminator handle bulk liquid ahead of the dryer. For special duty: F1 sterile for medical, food and pharmaceutical air, GMV for medical vacuum, F4 stainless for high pressure, GHTN for hot dust laden air after a heated dryer, and AKC carbon towers and NVR for bulk oil vapor removal.
Sizing and elements
Size filters to the compressor output at your line pressure, not to the pipe size; the SCFM rating on each variant is at 100 PSIG. Change coalescing and particulate elements yearly or at 10 PSI differential, carbon elements every six months. Replacement elements are listed by housing size under air filters. Filters pair with nano refrigerated and nano desiccant dryers; see all nano purification products.
