nano refrigerated air dryers: 10 to 8450 SCFM, 38 degree F pressure dew point

A refrigerated dryer is the standard dryer for shop and plant air. It cools the compressed air to about 38 degrees F, condenses the water out, drains it and reheats the air so the pipe does not sweat. nano builds five refrigerated families and we carry all of them.

DXR non cycling is the workhorse: 10 to 4200 CFM, 115 volt single phase up to 150 CFM, 230 volt to 230 CFM, 460 or 575 volt three phase above that. It runs continuously, so it is the right dryer for a compressor that is loaded most of the shift. TMC thermal mass cycling, 30 to 635 CFM, stores cooling in a thermal mass and shuts the refrigeration circuit off when demand drops, which cuts the power bill on compressors that cycle or run at part load. VDR variable speed covers 2600 to 8450 SCFM, air or water cooled, for plant air systems where one dryer sits behind several compressors. HTR high temperature, 25 to 125 SCFM, is built for piston compressors without an aftercooler, where inlet air can reach 180 degrees F, and is offered with a matched GFN filter. AXHP high pressure, 20 to 275 SCFM at 1200, 3625, 5000 or 6000 PSIG, dries air for PET bottle blowing, breathing air fill stations and high pressure test benches.

Sizing

Ratings are at 100 PSIG inlet, 100 degree F inlet air and 100 degree F ambient. Hotter inlet air or a hotter compressor room lowers capacity, so apply the correction factors on the product page or use the dryer CFM calculator. Match the dryer to the compressor output, not the tools, and add a nano coalescing filter ahead of the dryer and a particulate filter after it. For dew points below 38 degrees F, see nano desiccant air dryers. Back to all nano purification products.
