The nano G50N mid-pressure aluminum compressed air and gas filters deliver dependable, high-efficiency filtration at working pressures up to 725 psig. Machined and die-cast aluminum housings pair with proprietary hydrophobic and oleophobic borosilicate glass microfiber media to strip water, particulate, oil aerosol and oil vapor from demanding air systems while holding pressure drop low. The range spans nine housing sizes from 95 to 1885 SCFM with 1/4" to 2" NPT connections, and every housing is offered in the full grade lineup so you can build the exact air quality your process requires. Designed to ASME standards and tested to ISO 8573-1:2010, the G50N is the modern replacement for the legacy N50A mid-pressure aluminum filter range.
How to select your G50N filter
- Match the housing to your flow and pipe size. Choose the model rated at or above your actual SCFM at 725 psig, from 0095 (95 SCFM, 1/4" NPT) up to 1885 (1885 SCFM, 2" NPT).
- Choose the grade for the air quality you need. Coarse liquid and dust removal uses WS, M25 or M5; fine coalescing uses M1 (1 micron) then M01 (0.01 micron); oil vapor and odor removal uses AC activated carbon.
- Stage filters in series for critical air. A typical train is a water separator or M1 pre-filter, an M01 high-efficiency coalescer, then an AC carbon filter for vapor-free, technically oil-free air.
- Confirm your operating temperature. WS, M1 and M01 grades run 35 to 212 F; AC carbon grade is rated 35 to 77 F.
Key features
- Working pressure to 725 psig for mid and high-pressure compressed air and gas duty.
- Proprietary hydrophobic and oleophobic borosilicate glass microfiber media repels oil and water for high efficiency with minimal pressure drop.
- Push-fit element design with dual O-ring seals for optimum sealing and mechanical strength.
- Robust elements with internal and external stainless steel support cores and glass-filled nylon end caps.
- Machined and die-cast aluminum housing built to ASME design standards in an ISO 9001 facility.
- Manual ball-valve condensate drain included on WS, M1 and M01 grades (1/4" connection).
- Six interchangeable element grades across all nine housing sizes for tailored air quality.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the M1, M01 and AC grades? M1 is a 1 micron coalescing grade for general oil and particulate removal, M01 is a finer 0.01 micron high-efficiency coalescer used downstream of an M1, and AC is an activated carbon grade that removes oil vapor and odors downstream of coalescing filters.
How much pressure can the G50N handle? The G50N range is rated for working pressure up to 725 psig, which is why it is called a mid-pressure aluminum filter.
Which housing size do I need? Select the housing whose SCFM rating at 725 psig meets or exceeds your actual flow, and confirm the NPT connection matches your piping. Sizes run from 95 SCFM (1/4" NPT) to 1885 SCFM (2" NPT).
Does the filter include a drain? WS, M1 and M01 grades include a manual ball-valve condensate drain with a 1/4" connection.
Does the G50N replace the older N50A filters? Yes. The G50N mid-pressure aluminum filter range supersedes the legacy N50A range.
