The nano GFN performance validated compressed air and gas filters deliver clean, oil-free compressed air from a compact, energy-efficient die-cast aluminum housing. The range spans 18 housing sizes rated from 6 to 1500 SCFM at 100 psig with connections from 1/8" to 3" NPT, and every grade is tested and validated in accordance with ISO 12500-1 and ISO 8573.1:2010, so the air quality you specify is the air quality you get. Deep-pleated borosilicate microfiber media captures particulate and coalesces oil aerosols with an extremely low pressure drop, cutting the energy cost of filtration, while internal and external E-Coat finishing protects the housing in demanding plant environments.

How to select your GFN filter

1. Size by flow. Choose a housing whose rated flow at 100 psig meets or exceeds your system flow, from the 6 SCFM GFN 0006 up to the 1500 SCFM GFN 1500.
2. Pick the filtration grade. M1 is the general-purpose first stage for 1 micron particulate and bulk oil removal. M01 installs after an M1 and polishes to 0.01 micron. AC installs after an M1 or M01 and adsorbs oil vapors and odors with activated carbon.
3. Confirm the connection. Each size uses a fixed NPT (F) port from 1/8" to 3"; the port size is shown with each capacity option.
4. Stack stages for critical air. For technically oil-free air, run M1, then M01, then AC in series ahead of the point of use.

Frequently asked questions

Which grade do I need?
Start with an M1 as the first stage. Add an M01 after it when you need 0.01 micron air, and an AC after the M01 when you need oil vapor and odor removal, such as breathing air pre-treatment or food contact air.

How often should elements be replaced?
nano recommends replacing M1 and M01 elements annually. AC elements should be replaced after every 1,000 hours of operation.

Is a drain included?
Yes. M1 and M01 filters ship with an automatic float drain; AC filters include a manual drain. External timed solenoid or zero air loss drains can be added.

What is the maximum pressure?
