NFZ High-Capacity Flanged Compressed Air Filter By Nano

The nano NFZ high-capacity flanged filters are fabricated carbon steel compressed air and gas filters engineered for reliable liquid and particulate removal at low pressure drop in high-flow industrial systems. This is the Z-flow configuration of the F2 range, covering nine models from 2500 to 10000 SCFM at 100 psig with 4" to 10" ANSI flanged connections. Each housing is built in accordance with ASME VIII with U-Stamp approval, manufactured in an ISO 9001 facility and tested to ISO 12500. Externally primed and powder coated for corrosion resistance, the NFZ is the workhorse filter for compressor rooms, gas treatment skids and other bulk-flow applications where high capacity and durability matter.

How to select your NFZ filter

1. Match the model to your flow and flange size. Choose the NFZ rated at or above your actual SCFM at 100 psig, from NFZ 2500 (2500 SCFM, 4" flange) up to NFZ 10000 (10000 SCFM, 10" flange).
2. Choose the element grade for the air quality you need. Use M1 (1 micron) for general particulate and coalescing duty, M01 (0.01 micron) for high-efficiency coalescing, and AC activated carbon for oil vapor and odor removal.
3. Stage filters in series for critical air. A common train is an M1 coalescer, then an M01 high-efficiency coalescer, then an AC carbon filter for vapor-free air.
4. Confirm your operating temperature. M1 and M01 grades run 35 to 212 F recommended; AC carbon grade is rated 35 to 77 F recommended.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the NFZ and NFT filters? Both are F2 high-capacity flanged filters. The NFZ uses a Z-flow (offset) porting arrangement and the NFT uses a T-flow (inline) arrangement. Choose the one that best fits your piping layout; the filtration grades and elements are the same.

Which grade removes oil vapor? The AC activated carbon grade removes oil vapor and odors down to 0.003 ppm and is installed downstream of coalescing filters.
