Champion L-Series Factory-Installed Options

These are the priced factory options for the Champion L23, L26 and L29 enclosed rotary screw air compressors. Order an option here alongside the compressor and Warthog places both on one factory order, so the machine arrives built the way you specified rather than with parts loose in a carton.

Champion prices every one of these options identically across all three L-Series models, so there is no need to pick a horsepower: one part, one price, fits the L23, the L26 and the L29.

What Each Option Does

Moisture separator / trap. A mechanical separator installed downstream of the aftercooler that strips bulk condensate out of the discharge air before it reaches your header. On a 30 to 40 HP machine running in a humid plant this is the cheapest water removal you will ever buy, and it takes a large share of the liquid load off whatever dryer sits behind it. Champion lists it for base-mounted units only and ships it loose.

Sequencing kit. Lets two or more Governor-controlled Champion compressors share a system and rotate lead/lag duty instead of fighting each other on a common header. The kit contains the communication cable, the system pressure sensor and the fittings and hardware to install them. Champion is explicit that the kit should be ordered with each unit being sequenced, so a two-machine room takes two kits and a three-machine room takes three.

RotorLub 8K and 8K HT. Extended-life compressor fluids rated for roughly twice the service interval of the standard RotorLub 4000 fill. The HT version is formulated for high ambient and high discharge temperatures. Choosing one at order time means the machine leaves the factory filled with it rather than needing a drain and flush on day one.

RotorLub 4000FG and 4000FG-68. USDA food-grade fills for food, beverage, pharmaceutical and packaging plants where an incidental-contact lubricant is required. The -68 variant is the high-temperature grade. Specify the food-grade fill with the machine; retrofitting one later means a full flush.

No-Charge Options, and What Is Not Offered

Two L-Series choices cost nothing but have to be selected on the factory configurator at order time, so they cannot be sold as a line item here. Tell us when you order and we will add them:

• 70°C (158°F) thermostatic mixing valve in place of the standard 55°C (131°F) valve.
• RotorLub 4K fill in place of the standard RotorLub 4000.

The August 2026 price book prints N/A for the following on the L-Series, so they are genuinely unavailable rather than simply unpriced: installation kit, remote start kit, inlet modulation, NEMA 4 control box, heater kit, full-voltage starter, 73°C mixing valve, dryer prefilter, electric tank drain, manual tank drain, 3-way bypass, standard receiver tank and the California Code receiver.

The 301KKA6032 10-year premium warranty kit applies to the L23, L26 and L29 but carries no printed list price in the August 2026 book. Ask and we will quote it with the compressor. Routine consumables, spin-on air/oil separators, spin-on oil filters, inlet filter elements and bulk RotorLub, are stocked separately; call with the unit serial number and we will confirm the right part numbers.

Ordering Notes

• Champion publishes no shipping weight for any of these options in the August 2026 price book, so every variant on this listing carries a zero weight. We will confirm freight before the order ships rather than invent a number.
• Options priced here are factory-installed or factory-filled at build time. Ordering one after the compressor has shipped turns it into a field retrofit, which is usually more expensive. Order them together.
