The PPS1 Internal Seal is a genuine Prevost replacement seal made from NBR (nitrile rubber). It restores the internal sealing surface inside the PPS1 safety coupling so the connection holds pressure without leaking.
Nitrile is well suited to compressed air service because it resists oil and general wear. Fitting a fresh seal is an inexpensive way to return a worn coupler to reliable service rather than replacing the whole fitting. See related fittings in our couplers collection.
