The EnviroChamp 2 is serviced on condition, not on a fixed calendar, because carbon life depends entirely on how much lubricant your compressors carry over and how humid your plant runs. Draw a sample from the sample valve and hold it against a jar of tap water. Clear means the carbon is still working. Cloudy means order the kit now. The sample valve deliberately draws from two thirds of the way down the carbon depth, so a cloudy reading gives you lead time before the discharge actually goes out of limit. A tripped pop-up flow indicator is the other signal, and it stays up until you reset it so a night shift cannot miss it. Most plants running a demulsible lubricant in moderate humidity land on an annual change.
