Genuine Champion CFL Series Grade E replacement elements for the CFL high-efficiency coalescing oil-removal filter line, in all ten sizes from 20 to 780 SCFM. The cast aluminum housing stays in service for decades; the coalescing element is the wear part you replace.

When to Replace
Grade E coalescing elements have a hard 12-month service life regardless of differential pressure. Unlike a particulate element, a coalescer does not simply load up and show a pressure rise as it fails. The oil-wetted media degrades on a time basis, and a coalescer that looks fine on the DP gauge can already be passing oil aerosol downstream. Replace annually, or sooner if DP climbs 5 PSID above clean.
Fits Both Indicator Styles
The element is keyed to the housing size, not to the differential-pressure indicator. A CF100EE fits any 100 SCFM Grade E housing, whether the housing carries the P differential-pressure slide or the G differential-pressure gauge.

Element Performance
- Grade E — High Efficiency Oil Removal, 0.01 micron at 0.008 ppm remaining oil.
- Coalescing media with outside-to-inside drainage to the housing sump.
- Removes oil aerosols and submicron particles for instrument-quality air.
- 300 PSIG maximum working pressure, 150°F (66°C) maximum inlet temperature.
Protect the Coalescer
A Grade E element is the most expensive consumable in a typical treatment train, and it lasts far longer when a Grade C particulate element upstream catches the rust scale and pipe debris first. Running a coalescer as the first stage is the fastest way to waste one.
