Genuine Champion CFL Series Grade C replacement elements for the CFL general-purpose particulate inline filter line, in all ten sizes from 20 to 780 SCFM. The housing is cast aluminum and stays in service for decades; the element is the wear part you replace.
Select your element by the flow rating of the housing it goes into.
When to Replace
Replace the element annually, or whenever differential pressure climbs 5 PSID above clean, whichever comes first. Running a clogged element wastes compressed-air energy at roughly 1% of compressor horsepower for every PSID of pressure drop, and a badly loaded element can rupture and dump collected debris downstream into the dryer or the tools it was installed to protect.
Fits Both Indicator Styles
The element is keyed to the housing size, not to the differential-pressure indicator. A CF100CE fits any 100 SCFM Grade C housing, whether the housing carries the P differential-pressure slide (for example CFL100C17APTYW) or the G differential-pressure gauge (CFL100C17AGYTW). The same holds at every size in the range, so a failed indicator never obsoletes your element stock.

Element Performance
- Grade C — General Purpose Particulate, 1 micron at 1 ppm remaining oil.
- ISO 8573-1 Class 2 solids — no particle larger than 1 micron passes.
- ISO 8573-1 Class 4 oil — bulk oil and oil aerosol removal for general industrial service.
- Pleated borosilicate fiber media.
- 300 PSIG maximum working pressure, 150°F (66°C) maximum inlet temperature.
Buying Spares
Most plants stock two to six elements per housing so a change-out never waits on freight. If you run a Grade C ahead of a dryer and a Grade E coalescing filter downstream, keep spares for both; the Grade C loads first and protects the more expensive Grade E element behind it.
Need the Complete Filter?
If your housing itself is damaged rather than just loaded, the complete Champion CFL Series Grade C inline filter is available in all ten sizes with automatic float drain and your choice of differential-pressure indicator.
