The ABAC ABC13-30GH is the 13 HP Honda machine in the Ironman Engine range: a C1 cast iron two-stage pump turning out 25 CFM at a maximum 175 PSI, mounted on a 30 gallon horizontal ASME receiver. It is the step up from the 11 HP model for crews who keep running out of air partway through a job, and at 519 lbs it still loads onto a trailer or service body. No generator, no shore power, no cord run across the site.

Why the cast iron pump matters
ABAC builds its gas drive machines with two pump constructions and is explicit about the difference: the T39 hybrid pump mixes aluminum and cast iron, and the fully cast iron Ironman pump is the premium alternative. The C1 pump on the ABC13-30GH is the cast iron one. Cast iron cylinders shed heat better and tolerate the long duty cycles that service trucks, blasting work and all day fastening impose, which is most of the reason this machine weighs 519 lbs while the hybrid AB13-30GH comes in at 378 lbs on the same 13 HP Honda engine. If the compressor gets lifted in and out of a truck bed daily and runs in short bursts, the hybrid is the lighter answer. If it runs most of the day under load, the cast iron pump is what you are paying for.
How it compares
Across the Ironman Engine range the engine and the airflow move together. The 11 HP Honda ABC11-30GH delivers 23 CFM at 509 lbs on the same 30 gallon horizontal platform. The 14 HP Kohler ABC14-30GK matches this machine at 25 CFM and weighs 526 lbs, so the deciding factor there is the engine brand your crews already stock parts for. The 16 HP Vanguard ABC16-30GV steps up to 32 CFM at 605 lbs. All four run 175 PSI on a 30 gallon tank. If weight matters more than pump life, the 13 HP Hybrid Pro AB13-30GH uses the T39 hybrid aluminum and cast iron pump to cut the machine to 378 lbs at 22 CFM, but the fully cast iron Ironman pump is the one built for daily duty.
Typical applications
ABAC rates the Ironman Engine Series for hammering, nailing, grinding and spraying at remote sites, and that is exactly where this machine earns its keep: mobile service rigs, fleet and agricultural equipment maintenance, pipeline and utility crews, framing and roofing sites, and rental yards. At 25 CFM it will keep a 1 inch impact wrench, a chipping hammer or a pair of framing nailers fed, and the 30 gallon ASME receiver stops the pump short cycling between tool triggers. The 12V electric start saves the rope pull on cold mornings, and the low horizontal tank keeps the center of gravity down for loading and towing.
