This horizontal build runs 74 in long and 50 in tall at 728 lbs, which is the one to pick under a mezzanine or a low ceiling. The ABC10 horizontal Full Feature is the same machine with ABAC's protection package already fitted: automatic tank drain, low oil level automatic shut off, and a belt guard aftercooler. Buy the Full Feature if nobody on staff will remember to drain the tank or watch the oil, and buy this one if you already have that discipline and a dryer downstream. Installation and air treatment

Plan for 10 HP three-phase service and a correctly sized disconnect; there is no single-phase option in this frame size. Leave room at both ends of a 74 in tank for the drain and the service side of the pump, and keep the intake away from paint fog and grinding dust. If the air feeds paint, plasma or pneumatic controls, add a refrigerated dryer rated above the compressor's 32 CFM. The ABAC COOL 50 is rated 50 CFM and runs on a standard 115V single-phase outlet, so it drops in beside the compressor without new wiring. Drain the receiver daily unless you fit an automatic drain, and keep a spare set of filters and pump oil on the shelf.
