Keep your compressed air system dry and protected with the Tsunami Electronic Drain Valve (Plus) Tank Kit. Built around the Tsunami Moisture Minder® self-cleaning Electronic Drain Valve (EDV), this complete bolt-on kit automatically purges condensate from your receiver tank — preventing the moisture build-up that corrodes tanks, ruins pneumatic tools, and degrades finish quality. Each kit is sized for a specific tank capacity and ships with everything needed to mount and plumb the drain.
Included in the kit:
- Tsunami Moisture Minder® Electronic Drain Valve (21999-0177)
- 2.5” dry gauge
- Galvanized long nipples and fittings
- Soft-seat safety valve
- Full-port brass ball valves
- Tsunami 21999-0348 & 21999-0326 mounting brackets
- 300 PSI 1/4” high-temp black nylon tubing
- 3/8” clear drainage tubing
- Pipe tape
- Adjustable pipe support (included with the 240 gal kit)
Electronic Drain Valve features:
- Self-cleaning design — fixed strainer screen traps debris before it reaches the orifice
- Solid-state adjustable timer with manual test button
- Manual blowdown ball valve to blast contaminants from the strainer
- Stainless steel internal armature and shaft
- Large 4 mm internal orifice; dual-sized 1/4” NPT ID / 1/2” NPT OD inlet
- Rated to 230 PSI max and 175°F max
Applications: air compressors, receiver tanks, refrigerated and desiccant dryers, aftercoolers, coalescing filters, and drip legs.
Choose the kit that matches your tank: the 20–80 gallon kit (173 CFM, 1/4” NPT safety valve), the 120 gallon kit, or the 240 gallon kit (363 CFM, 1/2” NPT safety valve). Automating your tank drain with a Tsunami electronic drain valve eliminates manual draining, extends the life of your air compressor and downstream equipment, and delivers cleaner, drier compressed air across automotive finishing, spray foam, woodworking, and manufacturing applications.
