Tie rods are the spacers that hold the two side panels of a Prevost hose reel apart at exactly the right distance and keep the frame square under load. This is the 115 mm length. Get the length wrong and the drum either binds or wanders, so match the rod to the reel rather than to what looks close.
Replace a tie rod that is bent, stripped, or badly corroded, and check the rest at the same time, since a reel that has been knocked hard enough to bend one has usually strained the others. The DMG 0043I stainless version is available for wet environments.
