Prevost Hose Reel Acetylene Swivel Joint - DMG 0243
This is the rotating union at the hub of a Prevost acetylene hose reel. It carries fuel gas from the fixed inlet into the spinning drum as the reel pays out and rewinds, and it uses the left-hand thread and acetylene-compatible sealing that fuel gas service requires.
Replace it when the reel leaks at the hub or the swivel no longer turns smoothly. Never substitute the oxygen joint here; DMG 0242 is the matching oxygen-side part, and the two are deliberately not interchangeable on a cutting set.
