This is the replacement stainless steel grid for Super-Dry ATD-1/4, ATD-1/2 and ATD-1/2-CL point-of-use air dryers. The grid is a service item inside the dryer body, and it is worth replacing when it is deformed, corroded or lost during a cartridge change. How it works
The grid sits inside the ATD dryer housing and supports the desiccant cartridge so it stays seated in the air path. Air passing through the dryer is directed across the desiccant rather than around it, which is what keeps the moisture out of the tool or spray gun downstream. Because the grid is stainless steel it holds its shape in a wet air stream and can be reused through several cartridge changes before it needs replacing.
