The Super-Dry SAF Series is a compressed air filter housing that cuts contamination out of your air stream before it reaches the process or the equipment you care about. Five sizes cover 45 to 515 SCFM at 100 PSIG with 1/2" to 2" NPT inlet and outlet ports. Clean air keeps air tools in service longer, lets pneumatic machinery and controls run at their rated performance, and keeps pipe and valves free of contaminants.
How it works
Air passes through a replaceable filtration element held in the housing, and the contaminants it captures are separated from the air stream. Every housing comes with an internal float drain that discharges collected liquid automatically, plus a differential pressure indicator so you can see when the element has loaded up and needs changing. Elements are offered in three grades: general purpose (Grade X), high efficiency (Grade Y) and activated carbon (Grade Z), so one housing size can be set up for particulate, fine coalescing or vapor and odor duty.

The published limits shown here apply to the SAF-45 only: a maximum inlet pressure of 232 PSIG and a maximum inlet temperature of 176°F (80°C). Super-Dry does not publish separate pressure or temperature limits for the four larger housings.
