The ED kits are the genuine Super-Dry service cartridges for D Series single-tower desiccant air dryers. Each kit rebuilds the consumable path of the dryer in one part number: a high-efficiency filtration bag filled with activated alumina, two engineered polypropylene coalescing filter elements, and two oil carry-over absorbing felt pads. Order the kit that matches your dryer model (ED1 for the D1 through ED4 CRN for the D4 CRN) so the bag and elements seat correctly in the housing.
How it works
- The desiccant bag holds the activated alumina that absorbs moisture as air flows up through the tower, and it is the part that saturates over time.
- The two coalescing elements handle the incoming filtration stage, capturing solid particulate before it reaches the desiccant.
- The two felt pads absorb oil carry-over from the compressor so it does not blind the desiccant or pass downstream.
- Replace the cartridge when the moisture gauge indicates saturation. With the stainless-steel clamp on the D Series housing, the swap is quick and there is no loose desiccant to pour or handle.
