Super-Dry D Series Single-Tower Desiccant Air Dryer, 70 to 300 SCFM

The Super-Dry D Series is a single-tower desiccant air dryer built for point-of-use and intermittent-flow compressed air, from one spray booth drop up to a 300 SCFM branch line. It removes liquid water, oil carry-over, solid particulate and water vapor before the air reaches your equipment, so spray guns, blast pots, plasma torches and pneumatic tools see dry air instead of rust, spotting and premature wear. Five models cover 70 to 300 SCFM on 1" through 3" NPT ports, and the D4 CRN version is registered under CRN 0H20157.2C, a registration that applies to that model alone and not to the rest of the D Series. The rust-free powder-coated aluminum housing is made in Canada and includes built-in mounting brackets.

How it works

• Centrifugal separation. Wet air enters through an off-set inlet that spins the stream and throws liquid water droplets out before they reach the media.
• First filtration stage. The air passes a polypropylene coalescer element, oil carry-over felt pads and stainless-steel grids that trap solid particulate.
• Drying. Air then flows upward through a sewed filtration bag of activated alumina, which acts as a sponge and absorbs moisture out of the stream.
• Second filtration stage. A final filtration pass catches desiccant dust so no media fines carry downstream.
• Cartridge service. When the moisture gauge shows saturation, the stainless-steel clamp releases for a fast, mess-free cartridge change with no loose desiccant to handle.
