This is a replacement air/oil separator element for rotary screw air compressors, offered as an equivalent to Smith Air number 8-009. The separator element pulls fine oil mist out of the compressed air as it leaves the airend and returns that oil to the sump, keeping oil carryover low and the delivered air clean.
