Prevost Low-Pressure Swivel Seal 12-24 - DMG 0031
This is the low-pressure sealing ring that sits inside the swivel joint of a Prevost hose reel, where the rotating drum meets the fixed air inlet. It is what keeps compressed air from escaping while the reel spins. A reel that hisses at the hub, bleeds down overnight, or weeps around the swivel is almost always telling you this seal has hardened or worn, and replacing it is far cheaper than replacing the reel.
Seals are usually renewed as a set with the matching washer, so most people order the DMG 0032 washer at the same time.
