Prevost Swivel Seal 11 mm NBR-PTFE - DMG 0037A
This is the standard 11 mm sealing ring for the swivel joint on a Prevost hose reel, in an NBR and PTFE combination. NBR gives the flexibility needed to seal against the rotating shaft, while the PTFE face handles the constant sliding contact without grabbing. It is the seal to fit for ordinary shop compressed air service.
Replace it when the reel leaks at the hub or will not hold pressure with the hose wound in. If your application runs hot, fit the DMG 0037B silicone-PTFE version instead. The matching DMG 0038 washer is usually renewed at the same time.
