The Quincy QPVS is a variable speed refrigerated air dryer built for plants whose air demand swings through the day. A variable speed drive ramps the refrigerant compressor up and down to match the actual load instead of cycling on and off at full power, which is where the energy savings come from. Quincy rates the QPVS line at a 37°F pressure dew point across the full flow range, and the units are air cooled with high efficiency heat exchangers.
Six sizes are stocked below, from 210 CFM through 1800 CFM. All are 460 volt / 3 phase / 60 Hz.

Sizing Notes
- Size the dryer to the compressor's actual delivered CFM, not its horsepower. If more than one compressor feeds the same header, add their outputs together.
- Capacities above are at standard inlet conditions. Hot, humid ambient air or an inlet temperature above the rating cuts effective capacity, so allow headroom on outdoor installs and in unconditioned rooms.
- Install a particulate filter ahead of the dryer and a coalescing filter after it to protect the heat exchanger and finish the air quality.
- The QPVS line runs past 1800 CFM. If you need a larger unit or a different voltage, call us and we will quote it.
