Pioneer Air Systems GR 6 Coalescing Element A7-00010-40088
This replacement coalescing element interchanges with the Pioneer Air Systems GR 6 element, part number A7-00010-40088. The GR letters describe the media build rather than a physical size, and the element uses the same fitment as the original.
A coalescer targets oil and water that move through a compressed air system as a suspended mist rather than as bulk liquid. The aerosol wets the media, small droplets combine into drops large enough for gravity to act on, and the drain carries them away. Downstream, that is what protects piping, air tools, cylinders, valves and any process that cannot tolerate oil carryover.
Change it by the calendar rather than the gauge. Coalescing elements are replaced on a time basis rather than on differential pressure, since a worn element can still read a normal pressure drop. Compare the rest of the range in coalescing filters and elements or browse all air filters.
