Pioneer Air Systems A7-00011-20155 GR 6 Coalescing Element
This is an equivalent GR 6 coalescing element built to replace the Pioneer Air Systems A7-00011-20155 in the filter housings that take that element.
A coalescing element gathers the fine oil aerosol and water mist that slips straight through a particulate filter, merging those droplets until they are heavy enough to fall out and drain away. The GR designation marks the media build rather than a physical size, so match both the grade and the original part number when you order a replacement.
Coalescing media is changed on a time basis rather than by waiting for a differential pressure gauge to climb, because a coalescer loads up with the liquid it is removing long before it blocks with solids.
