Pioneer Air Systems Coalescing Element A7-00010-40023
A replacement coalescing element made to interchange with the Pioneer Air Systems element listed as A7-00010-40023. It drops into the same housing as the original, so the change-out is the usual open, swap and reseal.
A coalescer targets oil and water that travel through a compressed air system as a suspended mist rather than as bulk liquid. The aerosol collects on the media, the droplets combine into drops large enough for gravity to act on, and the drain carries them away. Downstream, that means cleaner air reaching tools, valves, cylinders and any point of use that cannot tolerate oil carryover.
Plan the replacement on a schedule, not on a gauge. Coalescing elements are changed on a time basis rather than on differential pressure, because a tired element can still show a normal pressure drop. The rest of the range is in coalescing filters and elements, with related products under air filters.
