Pioneer Air Systems Coalescing Element A7-00010-40015
This is a replacement coalescing element built to interchange with the Pioneer Air Systems element carrying part number A7-00010-40015. Fitment matches the original, so it installs in the existing filter housing with no adapters and no rework.
Coalescing media handles the contamination a particulate filter lets straight through: the fine oil and water aerosol suspended in the air stream. The mist wets the media, small droplets merge into larger drops, and gravity carries them down to the bowl where the drain removes them. That is what keeps liquid oil off downstream piping, air tools, cylinders and controls.
Worth knowing: a coalescing element is replaced on a time basis rather than on differential pressure. Efficiency falls away while the gauge still reads normal, so most sites settle on an annual change.
