Pioneer Air Systems Coalescing Element A7-00010-40012
A replacement coalescing element that interchanges with the Pioneer Air Systems element carrying part number A7-00010-40012. Fitment matches the original, so it installs in the existing filter housing with no modification.
Coalescing filtration targets the oil and water that travel through a compressed air system as an aerosol. The media captures that fine mist, the droplets merge into larger drops, and gravity moves them to the bowl and out through the drain. Getting that liquid out before it reaches the header is what keeps oil off downstream tools, valves, cylinders and finished work.
Change these on a calendar. A coalescing element is replaced on a time basis rather than on differential pressure, since the media loses efficiency well before pressure drop gives you a warning, and once a year is the usual interval.
