Pioneer Air Systems Coalescing Element A7-00010-40003
This replacement coalescing element is built to interchange with the Pioneer Air Systems part number A7-00010-40003. It uses the same fitment as the original element, so it goes into the existing housing without adapters or rework.
The job of a coalescer is to take out what a particulate filter cannot: oil and water present as a fine aerosol rather than as solids or bulk liquid. The mist wets the media, small droplets combine into larger drops, and those drops fall to the bowl and leave through the drain. Downstream, that means cleaner air reaching your tools, cylinders, valves and any point of use that cannot tolerate oil carryover.
One maintenance note that saves trouble: coalescing elements are replaced on a time basis rather than on differential pressure. A tired coalescer can still show a normal pressure drop, so an annual change is the safer habit. The rest of the range is in coalescing filters and elements, with related products under air filters.
