Pioneer Air Systems 3 Micron Interceptor EPS2000
An equivalent 3 micron interceptor element for the Pioneer Air Systems EPS2000, built to the original fitment so it installs in the existing housing without adapters.
At 3 microns this is a particulate stage rather than a coalescing one. It captures the solid carryover a compressed air line accumulates, from rust and mill scale to desiccant fines and ordinary dirt. Sitting ahead of finer filtration it takes the bulk loading and lets those elements reach their intended life, and sitting close to the point of use it keeps grit away from valves, cylinders, instruments and air tools.
