Prevost Hose Reel Hook Pin - DMG 0223
This is the small retaining pin that holds the stop hook on the end of a Prevost hose reel hose. The hook is what catches the reel guide and stops the hose winding all the way back in, so the pin takes a sharp shock load every time the reel recoils.
Replace it when the hook has gone loose or has parted company with the hose end, which is the usual failure after long service. It is a cheap part to keep on the shelf if you run several reels.
