The PIC Gauges 102D-158 series is a 1.5" dry utility pressure gauge built for everyday air, water, oil, and gas service on compressors, pumps, tanks, and process lines. It pairs a black steel case and chrome-plated bezel with brass (copper-alloy) internals and a center back mount 1/8" NPT connection, making it an economical, reliable choice for OEM and replacement use. Dual-scale dial reads in PSI and kPa/BAR.
Which range should you choose?
Pick the range type that matches what your system does:
- Pressure (e.g. 0–100 PSI): Positive pressure only — what almost every air-compressor and shop-air job needs.
- Compound (30 inHg vacuum to 30 PSI): Reads both vacuum and positive pressure on one dial — for systems that pull suction and also build pressure.
- Vacuum only (0 to 30 inHg): Suction / negative pressure only.
What does "inHg" mean? It stands for inches of mercury — the standard unit gauges use to measure vacuum, meaning pressure below normal atmospheric pressure (in other words, suction). 0 inHg is ordinary atmospheric pressure, and about 30 inHg is a near-complete vacuum — roughly 14.7 PSI of suction. So a gauge marked "30 inHg" reads the entire vacuum range, from no suction down to full vacuum. (By comparison, PSI measures pressure above atmospheric.)
