Parker Watts F602 Hi-Flow Particulate Air Filter, 3/4 in. to 1-1/2 in. NPT
The F602 is Parker Watts' high flow particulate filter: a zinc body with a 40 micron element, a deflector plate that spins water and heavy dirt out of the stream, and a 16 ounce zinc bowl with a vertical sight gauge so you can see the sump level without cracking the drain.

Flow figures are at 90 PSIG inlet with a 5 PSI pressure drop, which is the condition Parker publishes them at. Note that the jump from 3/4 in. to 1 in. buys you only 30 SCFM; the real step is at 1-1/2 in.

This is the upstream filter, not the final one
A 40 micron particulate filter takes out pipe scale, rust and bulk liquid water. It does not take out oil aerosol or anything fine, and it is not supposed to. Its job is to protect whatever is downstream, which on most systems means a coalescing filter and a dryer. Running a coalescer without a particulate filter ahead of it is a reliable way to blind an expensive element in a fortnight.
If you need oil removal, this is the first of two stages. Parker's own literature says the coalescing filter must be protected by a particulate filter upstream.
Mounting and drains
Mount vertical, bowl down, with the flow arrow pointing downstream, and leave clearance underneath to get the bowl off. The manual twist drain needs someone to turn it, so if nobody is going to, budget for an automatic drain or you will eventually push the sump straight through the element. Check the sight gauge weekly for the first month to learn how fast your system actually loads the bowl.
The 2 in. F602-16WJ in this family has been discontinued by the supplier and is not stocked.
