Part number note
These carry two numbers in circulation. 06F14AC and 06F34AC are the current Parker numbers. F602-024A and F602-044A are the older Watts Fluidair numbers for the same items, and you will still see them on drawings and old purchase records. They are not different products and not the same thing as the larger F602 Hi-Flow housings, which share a prefix by accident of history and are a completely different body.
Metal bowl, and why it matters here
The metal bowl with the sight gauge costs a little more than a polycarbonate one and is worth it anywhere there is heat, solvent vapour or a chance of mechanical knocks. Polycarbonate bowls are attacked by a long list of common shop chemicals, including some cutting fluids and most aerosol degreasers, and when one fails under pressure it fails energetically. If the filter is going somewhere a forklift could clip it, metal.
Mount it vertical with the bowl down and the flow arrow pointing downstream, and leave room to unscrew the bowl. Four and a half ounces of sump is not much, so on wet systems check it often until you know the interval.
