Oil scavenge tube 39796594 is the small-bore return line that draws collected oil off the bottom of the separator element and feeds it back to the airend on an Ingersoll Rand rotary screw compressor. It is a minor part with an outsized job: if the scavenge line is blocked, kinked or cracked, oil pools in the separator instead of returning to circulation.
