Prevost Stainless Hose Reel Nut M6 - DMG 0044I
The stainless steel M6 nut for Prevost hose reels, used on tie rods, brackets, and guide assemblies. Identical thread and size to the standard DMG 0044, but it will not seize or rust in a washdown bay, a food or beverage plant, or on a reel mounted outdoors.
Corroded fasteners are the usual reason a reel rebuild turns into a fight, so if you are working on a reel in a wet environment it is worth putting the whole frame back together with stainless hardware rather than mixing materials.
