The ESK-130 exhaust silencer (part number 2901410184) is a genuine nano-purification solutions replacement muffler for D2/D3 series dryers. It mounts on the purge exhaust port to cut the sharp discharge noise produced each time the dryer vents regeneration air, while allowing full purge flow to escape unrestricted.
Silencers are a wear item. A clogged or crumbling silencer restricts purge exhaust, which raises tower pressure during regeneration and degrades dew point performance. If your dryer has gotten louder, is failing to reach its rated dew point, or the old silencer element is discolored and packed with desiccant dust, replace it.
