This low speed variant runs in the 150–800 RPM range at peak output — engineered for viscous mixing, stirring, valve actuation, and tension control. Stall torque scales to 322 Nm at the low-speed end of the LZB54 range, giving the motor massive starting force even under full load.

The LZB54 series uses Atlas Copco's proven five-vane motor cell with zero-clearance design, maximising power-to-weight efficiency in a compact aluminium housing. Speed is infinitely variable by adjusting inlet pressure or flow — down to 50% of free speed — without mechanical governors or electronic drives. The linear torque-speed curve makes control predictable and repeatable across the full working range.
