This kit combines the minimum pressure valve (MPV) and thermostatic valve (THV) service parts for Chicago Pneumatic C40 and C55 rotary screw compressors. Both valves are serviced together so the compressor holds proper sump pressure and manages oil temperature correctly.
The minimum pressure valve keeps enough back pressure for oil circulation, while the thermostatic valve routes oil through the cooler once it warms up.
