This replacement coalescing filter element crosses to eCompressedAir part number ACF1500A. Fitting a new element to an existing housing keeps a filter station in service without the cost of a whole new vessel.
The A at the end of the part code identifies a specific media build inside the ACF1500 family. Different letters in the same family are not interchangeable, so order to the code printed on the cartridge you are pulling out rather than by housing size.
Coalescing elements work alongside compressed air dryers rather than in place of them. The dryer deals with water vapour, while the element traps the liquid aerosols and fine solids the dryer leaves behind. Keeping both stages on a maintenance schedule is what delivers consistently clean air at the point of use.
