DV Systems Element - Adsorber - SAF-V-120
A replacement activated carbon adsorber element for the DV Systems SAF-V-120 housing. This is the stage that takes oil vapor and odor out of compressed air after the mechanical filters have already removed water droplets, oil aerosol and solids.
Sequence is everything with carbon. The bed adsorbs vapor, and vapor only, so any liquid reaching it is wasted capacity. Keep a current coalescing filter element in front of the carbon housing and treat drying as part of the same job, whether that is a refrigerated unit or one of the desiccant air dryers used where very low dew points are required.
Change carbon by the calendar. It does not build differential pressure as it fills, so there is no reading that warns you. The V in SAF-V-120 marks a particular build within the SAF family, so match the full code on the old cartridge when you order rather than the housing size alone.
