DV Systems Element - Adsorber - DVE-60
This activated carbon adsorber element is the replacement cartridge for the DV Systems DVE-60 filter. Carbon adsorbers are the polishing stage of a compressed air system. They hold oil vapor and odor on the surface of the carbon rather than filtering particles, which is why they get specified where air touches product, packaging or a finished surface.
Because a carbon bed is spoiled by liquid, the cartridge ahead of it matters as much as the carbon itself. Keep the coalescing filter element upstream on its own replacement schedule, and remember that the drier the air arriving from your air dryers, the longer the carbon lasts.
There is no gauge for a spent carbon element. Differential pressure barely moves as capacity drops, so replacement is a calendar item. If odor or oil carryover shows up downstream, the carbon is the first thing to look at. Order by the code on the cartridge you are removing so the seal and end caps match your housing.
Note: This is an equivalent part and not an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part number. Some manufacturers require OEM parts to maintain your warranty. | Air Supply Number: FHE120AC-AB
