An equivalent GR 8 coalescing element for Donaldson/Ultrafilter part number 1C486083, supplied under Air Supply crossover number FDF1100WE-CB.
Fitted upstream of sensitive equipment, a coalescing element removes oil aerosols and fine wet particulate so that compressed air dryers and point of use devices see clean air instead of an oil load they were never designed to handle. Regular element changes keep the system at its intended pressure drop.
Treat the GR 8 marking as a media grade, not a size code, and verify the replacement against the code printed on the cartridge coming out of the housing. Complete coalescing air filter assemblies are available if the housing itself needs attention.
