A 25 micron interceptor element that crosses to Donaldson / Ultrafilter part number 1C486084. It is the largest of the interceptor sizes we list in this family, intended for the higher flow housings in the series.
Interceptor duty is bulk solids removal. Dust, rust and scale are captured here so they never reach the fine media in the coalescing air filters downstream, which is why an interceptor is usually the cheapest element in the train and the one worth changing most often.
Order to the number printed on the cartridge you are replacing, since element length varies across the series even where the housing looks the same. Housings and complete assemblies are listed under compressed air filters.
