This is a replacement catalyst element for domnick hunter purification housings that accept the K040HC cartridge. It is offered as an equivalent service part, so it is intended to refit a housing already installed in the line rather than to be bought as a complete filter assembly.
Catalyst elements are a separate element type from the coalescing and adsorber cartridges that share the same housing families, and they are not interchangeable with them. Because of that, the safest way to order is by the number stamped on the cartridge you are removing, or by the housing model it came out of. If your housing takes a different K number, the correct element will be a different part.
If you are not sure which element type your housing needs, the air filters section covers the housings and stages used in a compressed air treatment train, and the coalescing filters and elements range lists the coalescing cartridges that commonly sit upstream of a polishing stage.
