Replacement adsorber element for domnick hunter purification housings built around the K065AC cartridge. Because it is sold as a service element, the housing, bowl and head all stay in place and only the spent cartridge is exchanged.
Adsorber elements handle a different job from the coalescing cartridges that fit the same housing families. A coalescing element removes liquid oil and water aerosol, while an activated carbon adsorber goes after what is left in vapor form, which is the part customers usually notice as a taste or a smell in the air. Order by the number stamped on the element you are pulling out, since the K065AC and its neighboring sizes are not interchangeable.
Where a carbon stage is fitted, keeping the air dry ahead of it protects the bed and stretches the change interval. The air dryers range covers the options for that, and desiccant air dryers cover the low dew point end of it.
