This coalescing element is an equivalent replacement for Domnick Hunter part number K040AA, supplied under Air Supply crossover number KPFEK040AAYE-CB. The AA marking is the manufacturer's media grade code for this element.
Coalescing elements strip oil aerosols and fine wet particulate from compressed air, merging them into droplets the housing drain removes. That protects downstream air dryers and point of use equipment from oil carryover, and a fresh element restores the low pressure drop the system was designed around.
