Copper Flexible Connector for Air Compressors, 1/2 in OD x 18 in, 200 PSI
A copper flexible connector for 1/2 in OD tube lines. It goes where a short, soft link is needed in a copper run so that pump vibration and the growth of a hot line are not taken out on the soldered joints. The usual place is between a small pump and the tank, or on the control and unloader plumbing where a rigid tube keeps cracking at the fitting.

Where it fits and where it does not
The 200 PSI rating is the thing to look at. It is comfortable on a shop compressor running 175 PSI cut out, but it has nowhere near the margin of the steel connectors, and it is not the part for a two stage discharge line that sees a 200 PSI safety valve. If you are plumbing the main discharge off a two stage pump, use a steel connector instead.
Copper also makes it the right choice where the run is already copper and you want the same metal through the joint.
Fitting it
Support the connector so it curves gently rather than pulling straight between two fixed points, and do not let it rub on the belt guard or the motor. Hold the end fitting with a second wrench while you tighten so the body never takes the torque. Let the line cool before you work on it, and blow the tank down first.
