Conrader Cable-Style Throttle Control – Eyelet End, 0.65" Stroke (Engines 8 HP & Below)
The Conrader TCP is a cable-style throttle control (auto-idle / unloader cable, also called a "bullwhip") for gas-engine-driven air compressors running engines of 8 HP and below. It mounts on the pilot valve or elsewhere on the compressor, and the eyelet cable end connects to the engine throttle arm. When the tank reaches cut-out pressure, pilot air actuates the control to idle the engine; when pressure drops, the engine returns to full throttle — saving fuel and reducing wear during cycling.
Built for the field: brass body with Viton seals, a stainless steel spring, and a permanently lubricated, self-cleaning stainless steel cable. Choose the overall cable length to suit your routing; all lengths share the same 0.65" stroke and 1/8" Male NPT inlet.
